Rachel's practice focuses on trusts and estates, tax law and charities and not-for-profit law. She contributes regularly to newsletters and other publications on current legal issues within her areas of practice and has delivered seminars to fellow lawyers, fundraising professionals, and financial advisors on many topics including retirement and estate planning, business succession planning, tax matters, buy-sell agreements, planned giving and bequest administration. Within the charitable/not-for-profit sector, Rachel reviews planned giving programs, assists donors in tax-related matters and charities with bequest and gift administration, interprets new legislation and has developed several privacy compliance programs. Rachel is involved with community organizations including the Reena Foundation - an organization that serves developmentally disabled adults. An Executive Member of the Toronto STEP chapter, Rachel will speak on a range of trust, legislative and planning issues for family members with disabilities.
